As expected, the clauses for the next Finance Bill have been published in draft together with a number of consultation outcomes and policy papers.
The clauses contain draft legislation in respect of some important areas including the proposed digital services tax, the new corporate capital loss restriction and the extension of the off-payroll working (IR35) rules to the private sector from April 2020.
The draft clauses are open for consultation until 5 September 2019 with the final contents of Finance Bill 2019-20 subject to confirmation at Autumn Budget 2019, date to be confirmed.
